I've been going to the pool to swim its a fitness center pool and I have been swimming with weights on?
every time I do it the life guard watches me like Im breaking the rules. I have a fanny pack weight that weights 8 pounds and my head always stays above the water. I can swim 2 laps without stopping with the weight on. Why is the life guard looking at me like Im breaking the rules? They've never said anything to me. I am training to go into the marine corps. They make you swim with 30-40 pounds on you. Right now I probably won't go past 8-10 pounds in the pool because of the way the life guard is looking at me. Why are they looking at me like this, and am I breaking any rules?
No offense, but anybody swimming with weights attached to them sounds like the biggest liability in the pool. The guard is probably just watching to make sure nothing happens to you.
