How to measure the power you need for your bike?
I want to know the power required to ride my bike. I know how I can measure time, length, speed, but I think this is not enough. Have you any idea?

R = radius of pinion Pedal Power requirements depend on the speed you want to achieve. More speed, more power you need. Power = Force x speed = P FV ................... Power = Work / Time .................. ...........= FS / t <== S / T = V ........................... ..= F (S / T) ... FV ..........................= Therefore, you get the value of the force (F) above and multiply by speed in m / sec and divided by 550 lb-ft / sec to get power.
