Inflatable Pool Whelping Box?
Hey guys, I have a built whelping box that me and my dad made out of an old dog house. Right now it seems ok, however, I believe that it might get to small. I have heard that inflatable kiddie pools make a great whelping box, so I was wondering if that would be a good idea to get one within this week. I also heard get inflatable, not plastic, and it is cushiony to prevent the pups from getting crushed. Thanks!
I would not use the inflatable pool...it would be easier for the babies to suffocate if they got trapped behind or under mom as it would mold to them versus being hard and more than likely leaving some room for them to breathe or wiggle loose.
