What's the difference between a high performance air filter and cold air intake?
I'm thinking about getting a high performance air filter made by K&N but I was curious as to what the difference is between that and putting a cold air intake system in the car.
K&N air filters are supposed to let air through easier. A cold air intake is supposed to draw cooler air from outside the car instead of hot engine air. K&N air filters are supposed to be washed and re-oiled once in a while.
