Atheists: Are you smart?

I do not like Steven Hawking, but are you able to reason and think it enough to out? If you say yes, what makes you think the rest of the universe is just a bunch of dead particles bounce for your amusement? Or you have another way describe your relationship to the universe? (Oh, and incidentally, I am an "atheist" and I'm not trying to lure you into some belief in "God." ) I'm just trying to understand what your perceived relationship to the universe.

Right now I'm totally digging on a "law of attraction" and "Thoughts are things" I was raised Catholic and I must say that much of it is not for me. On a monthly basis I think that past my religion is a social club, a traditional institution beautiful fine, a method of social control. Some days I convinced me that there was a benevolent watch over me. And then I wonder where they looked out of my mind and woud explode as I tried to imagine a kind of barrier at the end of the space where the sky began. In my mid-twenties I suffered from severe depression, Calling it a quarter-life crisis. I had some nice drugs and a counselor and I started thinking about the powerful effect the way I thought about me in the grand scheme of things were on my experiences. I decided that there was no sheet Road written for my life. I decided I did not control many things, but things I can control are important. I decided that every day I choose what happens to me and how I think. I decided things have meaning because of their meaning I attributes, acurate or not. Basically, I changed my mind and looked for like-minded people. That's when I discovered "The Secret" and how to use it to my advantage. "The Secret" is what makes me smile when I see a little red faced person in my mirror because I'm 60 in the rightmost lane of a 4-lane road 65 mph. Colleagues can easily move around me, but he chose to be angry against the situation that it is up finding a solution. The universe is not random, it is just done by the will and thoughts of so many people it is hard to just why the wind blows like it did. It's like "Multiplayer Pong" or whiteboard Interactive where many people are trying to clarify things with letters on a slate. Some people work toward a goal, and some people are working to thwart their efforts. I try to see not just as a person, but part of a continuum of a line, a generation a citizen in a country like a human being on the planet, etc. The philosophical quest for unity brings the volume of the hubub so I do not see myself not as something small, but rather as a powerful aspect of a much larger. I decided it was easier for someone to dissuade me from believing in things they taught me to CCD for someone to shake my confidence. Egoito ergo sum. All I know is here in my heart. One day I will return to a parish simply because I want to marry my fiance in a church, because I think it's a beautiful tradition and the churches are beautiful and they say some nice things to the church. Somehow I'm going to intimidate to have children and raise them in faith. Catholics are funny.
