Why do my baby's nipples feel like small balls?
My baby girl is four months old.
If you are referring to the tissue underneath the nipples it is because babies have a lot of their mother's hormones still in their system. One of those hormones is estrogen and causes babies (both boys and girls) to have swollen mammory glands (breasts) and/or genitals. This goes away when the baby flushes your hormones out of their systems.
